DPV Transportation Takes Over MBTA Bus Routes Connecting Hingham and Hull

Boston, MA – July 18, 2024 – In a significant development for public transportation, DPV Transportation, in partnership with the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA), has commenced operations on the MBTA bus route connecting Hingham Station to Pemberton Point in Hull as of July 16, 2024. This marks the beginning of a five-year contract aimed at enhancing transit services in the region. 

This new partnership underscores DPV Transportation’s commitment to providing reliable, safe, and efficient transit solutions for the communities of Hingham and Hull. The collaboration aims to improve the overall transit experience, ensuring timely and convenient services for all passengers. 

“Our goal is to ensure that the residents and visitors of Hingham and Hull have access to top-tier transit services,” said Brendan McNiff, President at DPV Transportation Inc. “By partnering with the MBTA, we can leverage their expertise and resources to offer a seamless, high-quality transportation experience that meets the needs of our passengers.” 

Steven Greenberg, President of the Hull/Nantasket Chamber of Commerce, expressed optimism about the new partnership, stating, “We are excited about the potential for positive change that DPV Transportation, in partnership with the MBTA, will bring to our community’s transit system.”
